Hand made in Italy! The Upholstery

Italian leather has almost become a synonym for finest quality and even our chinese competitors do import their materials from Italy.

The aniline died hides with a thickness of roughly 1,3mm are mostly cut by hand in order to make sure that only perfect parts are used for visible parts of the upholstery.

Some smaller pieces, like the leather squares for the Barcelona chair upholstery are cut using a press and the tools shown on the image. A total of 126 pieces of leather is then handsewn for this luxurious chair. Unbelievable how we manage to sell it that cheap!

Cushions of different shapes and materials are stuffed into the leather coverings to complete the upholstery

The last step is mounting the frame components, joining them with the upholstery and packaging them after a good polish and one last quality check.
