This chair is a more luxurious variant of the dining chair, that Mies van der Rohe designed for the Tugendhat house in Brno, It is made of flat suspension steel as it is used for the Barcelona Chair, instead of tubular steel, which dramaticaly increases its comfort - as well as its weight and price.

Chrome plated suspension steel base. Polyurethane foam upholstery on hardwood frame, covered with leather.

We do recommend premium leather for this chair, since its subtle grain and thinner material goes best with the curved edges of seat and backrest.
