Le Corbusier: Basculant Chair LC 1 in Cowhide

The basic design of the Corbusier basculant chair LC 1 dates back to the colonial days of the British Empire. Officers used to carry similar folding chairs with them on campaigns and picknicks. Corbusier thought steel and this is what came out.
