Hence, this merchandise has nothing but the look in common with the furniture we are selling. As for the feel it is completely different. It is cheap in any aspect.
The picture on the left shows the structure of a cheap repro, the one on the right shows our product.
- Instead of using proper L-shaped profiles, the frame is welded from rectangulars. The cushions will loose their shape very soon.
- There is cardboard underneath the cushions instead of nylon webbing. Rock hard, like the whole thing.
- The frame is welded to the base. Our bolted version allows the tube to move, which it must! The welded version is much easier to make but sooner or later it will break!
- The cushions are made of one block of foam, instead using composite material for a fluffier look and more comfort.
- The frames are made of stainless steel. Sure, it will not chip or rust, yet it will not show that warm shine of chrome either. Also the chrome plating hides welding seams, which will always remain visible on a polished stainless frame. And: our 35micron chrome plating does not chip off anyway.
- In case of Barcelona and Brno Chairs, stainless steel does not allow the gentle swinging action like the suspension steel we are using. Some day it may break, because it is not suitable for this purpose.
- We offer a five year warranty, check inexpensive competitors on this.
- After expiration of warranty, you will still get spareparts at affordable prices.
- You may return goods no questions asked. We don't charge restocking fees, nor issue store credit instead of cash refund.
